Superior is the pad we recommend for most rugs. At 0.160 inch thick, its recycled felt top adds cushion you can feel, and its tan rubber grip back holds the rug firmly on hard floors. Made in the USA.

What it is made of
Recycled felt over a tan rubber grip. 30 oz per square yard in total, with a 14 oz face weight and a density of 8 lbs per cubic foot. That density gives the pad its firm, quiet feel underfoot.

Choose the size of your rug, not the pad. Every pad is cut 3 inches smaller in each direction before it ships, so it sits an inch and a half in from every edge and never shows.
Measure the rug
Measure the rug itself, fringe not included, and round to the nearest size in the menu. Runners, rounds and squares are all there.
Between sizes?
Choose the next size up. The pad trims easily at home: scissors for Superior, All-Purpose and Deluxe, a utility knife and straight edge for the thicker Premium.
